Pumpkin spice lattes are delicious in every way, but we need to talk about the other amazing Fall flavors that pair so well with coffee! We went apple picking at County Line Orchard in Hobart, IN and came back with SO MANY THINGS…cider, donuts, apples (obviously), pie, and apple butter! I’ve had this slight obsession with apple butter since I was younger…it was such a treat to eat at Cracker Barrel and they would bring you apple butter with your toast.
Now that I drink coffee on the daily I wanted to sweeten up my morning cup of Joe with something a little different. I tried these apple butter lattes and it’s my new go to! So move over pumpkin spice…apple coming through!
Ingredients
1 tbsp apple butter
4 oz coffee or 2 shots espresso
2 oz milk or creamer of choice
Mix together apple butter and coffee in a mug and top with frothed milk or creamer. If you don’t have a frother you can buzz all of the ingredients together in a small blender or bullet. This creates a nice foamy effect as well. Add sweetener if desired.

Can you just use apple sauce wit spices?
Michele says
You can surely try with spiced applesauce! Just keep in mind that applesauce is thinner in consistency and is not as concentrated as apple butter so the end result may be slightly different.
Thank you!
